When did Fasting became mandatory in Islam?



Since when Fasting became mandatory in Islam 


In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

Fasting in Ramdhaan became compulsory during the month of Shaban, in the second year after Hijrah.[1]
