Title

Is this name too heavy?

Question

My sons name is Muhammad Ayad is this name too heavy?

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

We make Dua Allah make your son pious and grant barakah in his life.

Muhammad is the name of our beloved Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam. Muhammad means the praised one.

Ayad means to return/replenish.

The name Muhammad Ayad is suitable.

We do not know what you mean by too heavy. If you meant having two names, then in that instance, you may choose to call your son with one name, Muhammad or Ayad.

And Allah Ta’āla Knows Best.

Make your nature subservient to Qur'aan & Sunnah. Don't make Qur'aan & Sunnah subservient to your nature. That will lead to incorrect interpretation of Deen.
