Clothing with stain


Assalam o Alekum. I have a query regarding purity of clothes. Actually, i remain busy quite often due to my laborious working schedule because of which i only get time to wash my clothes on weekends. Hence, clothes that are affected by a night fall are usually washed after a considerable amount of time and as a result the semen or impurity firmly sticks on the clothes. After washing the clothes properly and rubbing it through brush with the help of detergent the impurity gets cleaned but the stains of semen still remain on the clothes which becomes visible. My question is that will my clothes be considered Paak or not in such case? Please answer my question as i have searched previous Q&A but i couldnt find answer to such a scneraio. Thanks. In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

In principle, clothing will become pure by washing and removing the impurity. If the stain of the impurity remains, the clothing will be regarded pure. [1]

However, you should not delay in washing the impure clothing.

وَإِنْ كَانَتْ النَّجَاسَةُ مَرْئِيَّةً كَالدَّمِ وَنَحْوِهِ، فَطَهَارَتُهَا زَوَالُ عَيْنِهَا، وَلَا عِبْرَةَ فِيهِ بِالْعَدَدِ؛ لِأَنَّ النَّجَاسَةَ فِي الْعَيْنِ فَإِنْ زَالَتْ الْعَيْنُ زَالَتْ النَّجَاسَةُ، وَإِنْ بَقِيَتْ بَقِيَتْ، وَلَوْ زَالَتْ الْعَيْنُ وَبَقِيَ الْأَثَرُ، فَإِنْ كَانَ مِمَّا يَزُولُ أَثَرُهُ لَا يُحْكَمُ بِطَهَارَتِهِ، مَا لَمْ يَزُلْ الْأَثَرُ؛ لِأَنَّ الْأَثَرَ لَوْنُ عَيْنِهِ، لَا لَوْنُ الثَّوْبِ، فَبَقَاؤُهُ يَدُلُّ عَلَى بَقَاءِ عَيْنِهِ وَإِنْ كَانَتْ النَّجَاسَةُ مِمَّا لَا يَزُولُ أَثَرُهُ، لَا يَضُرُّ بَقَاءُ أَثَرِهِ عِنْدَنَا


مراقي الفلاح شرح نور الإيضاح (ص: 67)

"ويطهر متنجس" سواء كان بدنا أو ثوبا أو آنية "بنجاسة" ولو غليظة "مرئية" كدم "بزوال عينها ولو" كان "بمرة" أي غسلة واحدة "على الصحيح" ولا يشترط التكرار لأن النجاسة فيه باعتبار عينها فتزول بزوالها وعن الفقيه أبي جعفر أنه يغسل مرتين بعد زوال العين إلحاقا لها بغير مرئية غسلت مرة وعن فخر الإسلام ثلاثا بعده كغير مرئية لم تغسل ومسح محل الحجامة بثلاث خرق رطبات نظاف مجزئ عن الغسل لأنه يعمل عمله "ولا يضر بقاء أثر" كلون أو ريح في محلها "شق زوال
