Bitten by a spider in an Istikhara dream

Salaam. I am trying to make sense of something that happened recently. I met a girl and was speaking to her for marriage (through parents’ permission) and we talked for a few weeks and then I did istikharah. The very first night after doing istikharah, I got a dream. I was sitting in my living room floor on the carpet, my dad was sitting on sofa. Then there appeared this large spider-like creature (the only way I can describe it is like this picture https://www.zeldadungeon.net/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/Tektite.png ). It was about one metre high stood up on its legs so it was very big. It then looked straight at me and shot like a sting or a dart from its front that went straight into my chest and then I woke up sweating and very scared and anxious. I didnt know what this dream meant, so I carried on doing istikhara. The next day I got another dream but I cant remember much of it but i was also scared in that dream but it wasnt as scary or intense as the first one. Can you please advise what u think this dream meant? JazakAllah

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

Muhratam Brother,

At the outset, one should understand that Shariah has considered the objective of Nikaah and has encouraged potential spouses to see each other. If they are attracted to each other, that will lead to love and care, thus sustaining the marriage and fulfilling the objective of marriage. [i]

Therefore, once you have seen the girl, you cannot communicate with the girl directly. Rather, all communication should be done via your parents or a Mahram female.

It is not permissible to communicate with the potential spouse for weeks as you stated.

However, you made Istikhara and saw the dream in reference. The dream in reference is negative. [ii]

We make dua Almighty Allah bless you with the most compatible partner who is a means of happiness for you in this world and the hereafter. Aameen.

And Allah Ta’āla Knows Best
