Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

In principle, there is no Zakaat due on a minor. Therefore, there is no Zakaat due on the cash belonging to your new born baby. [1]
