Reciting Durud Before Sleeping

My question is before retiring to bed I read 300 durood sharif daily.  Is this a bidat or wazifa? Do  I need permission to read it?

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

It is not a bid‘a to recite durud before sleeping. You do not need permission to do so. Your wazifa of 300 durud before bed is permissible.[1]

And Allah Ta‘ālā Knows Best.
