Making wudhu upon make up used to cover scarring due to mental disorder

If one has a mental disorder that leads to physical scarring/deformity by way of self harm, 1) can makeup be used to cover the what gets messed up? 2) if makeup is allowed to cover the deformity/visibly messed up face for the purpose of looking normal and preventing more self esteem and mental health issues, then can wudu be made over the makeup? Ex: trichtillomania causes visible absence of hair including eyebrows or lashes or scalp, so if makeup is used to cover this to prevent further mental damage, it can become extremely difficult to make fresh wudu every prayer. Thus, can wudu be made over the makeup? Or perhaps even tayammum?

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

May Allah Ta’ala grant you complete cure from your ailment. Ameen.

You can use makeup to cover the scarring or deformity. However, the makeup must be removed in order for wudhu to be valid.[1] You can re-apply the makeup immediately after making wudhu.

And Allah Ta’āla Knows Best
