Should i read Surah Fatiha Behind the Imam?

Assalaam u alaikum, When praying behind an imam, when is it necessary to recite our own Fatiha and surah , I am not sure as to whether to recite it during zuhr, asr and then listen to the imam in the other prayers when the imam will read loud? JazakAllah Khairan

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

According to the Hanafi madhhab, one should not recite al-Fatiha or any other sura when praying behind an Imam, whether the Imam is reciting softly in Zuhr and Asr salats or loudly in Fajr, Maghrib, and ‘Isha salats.[1]

And Allah Ta‘ālā Knows Best.
