Question

Do you happen to know if this hadith is sahih?

Aisha ra narrated that the Prop*-het saw said :"5 kinds of animals are harmful and could be killed in the Haram (sanctuary). These are the crow, the kite, the scorpion the mouse and the rabid dog."

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

The Hadith is narrated by Imam Bukhari (rahmatullahi alayhi) in Sahih al Bukhari. It is as follows:

Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said, “Five creatures are such that there is no restriction in killing them: the crow, the kite, the mouse, the scorpion and the rabid dog.” (Bukhari: 1828)

The Hadith is Saheeh.
