Jazakumullahu Khaira

Answer

Keratin is one of a family of fibrous structural proteins. Keratin is the protein that protects epithelial cells from damage or stress. Keratin is extremely insoluble in water and organic solvents.1

It is permissible to use a shampoo containing keratin provided it is not sourced from Humans or Pigs.2
