Title: Zakat funds for musjid construction.

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

It is not permissible to use zakat funds to build a musjid. If zakat funds is used to build a masjid, the zakat will not be discharged. Zakat can be given only to poor and needy muslims.[[i]][[ii]][[iii]][[iv]][[v]]
