Fasting to detoxify the body and save money

Assalamu Alaikum i am new to islam and i am an over thinker.

I have recently been fasting, however i have different intemtions such as: saving money, detoxing body as well as pleasing allah azawajal and for the hereafter.

Would my fast still be accepted if i am fasting for saving money.

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

We are pleased to know that you are a revert to Islam. Almighty Allah guided you to the path of eternal success. May Allah keep you steadfast on Islam. Aameen.

Your overthinking attitude is praise worthy. That will lead you to understand Islam better and enjoy the beauties of Islam.

Fasting is an act of worship. That should be solely to please Allah. There should be no other intentions beside the pleasure of Allah. [1]

The benefits of saving money and detoxing the body will be achieved in any way.

However, do not fast specifically to detox the body or save money. That is not an act of worship. You will not get the Ajr (reward) of fasting as an act of worship if you fast specifically to detox the body or save money.

And Allah Ta’āla Knows Best
