Title: Staying in a hotel which serves alcohol

Staying in 5 star hotel

Which serve Alcohol and haram food

Is allowed for a Muslim traveller ?

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

If a traveller has a choice between a hotel that serves alcohol and a hotel that does not serve alcohol, the dictates and spirit of Imaan should direct him to stay in an alcohol free environment. However, if a traveller does not have a choice or he is compelled to stay in a hotel that serves alcohol, he will be excused.
