Getting commission from finance company by getting them clients

I hope all is well.

I have been advised I can email your company for advise.

I have recently started looking into a new business venture along side the existing business where we sell cars to the general public.

Most of our clients buy the cars with their own money and then they walk away with the car.

Some of our customers purchase the cars from us, part cash and part finance that they have arranged themselves. Here we are NOT involved in the arranging of the finance in anyway whatsoever. This is their choice.

I have recently seen an opportunity where I can offer finance to my clients i.e. those who dont have the full amount of money.

My role here will be to register as a Independent Financial Adviser with Credit Brokering ability.

This will then allow me to reach out to finance houses and help these people who are looking for finance.

I do not give them my money and i do not charge them any money and or interest to do this.

However, I do work with the various finance houses and get my clients the finance they need and then the finance company pays me a commission for this business i give them.

Can you advise if this business opportunity is HALAL for me please?

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

Your job as a broker will be impermissible if it involves interest based conventional finance houses, even though you may yourself not charge interest. [1]
