Questions relating to Hajj

Question

1) Why we Hanfi dont read qasar namaz in Arafat (masjid-e-Nimra) when it is done by Prophet alayhisalaam ? I need valid reason please

2) woman can not aviod the naqam to touch her face during namaz or with wind, if one has to charity? how much? if for every salah? sometime one can not afford that much please explain

3) Should we perform sunnat-e-muqada in Mina/muzdalfa/arafat?

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

1)     In principle, if one is a musaafir, and is staying in Makkah for less than fifteen days, then he must pray qasr during his hajj. However, if one intends to stay in Makkah for fifteen days or more, then he must pray full salaats, as he will be a muqeem[1]

The Prophet, salllallahu alayhi wa sallam made qasr in ‘Arafaat because he was a musaafir.

2)     In the case in reference, the woman must pay any amount of money in charity.[2][3]

3)     In principle, a musaafir does not have to perform sunan al-mu’akkadah. If one is a musaafir in hajj as explained above, he does not have to perform sunan al-mu’akkadah. However, hajj is a spiritual journey of worship. One should endeavour to perform sunan al-mu’akkadah even though he is a musaafir.[4]

[3] In principle, if a woman covers one fourth of her face for one full day or night or more, then a damm will be waajib upon her. On the other hand, if she covers one fourth of her face for less one full day or one full night or covers less than one fourth of her face for any amount of time, giving any amount of charity will be waajib upon her
