What is the meaning of the word Tahreem?

can u please tell me the meaning of name tehreem or tahreem . as far as i know its meaning banning or some say its pure. can u please suggest some baby girls name.

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

The word Tahreem (تحريم) means banning, forbidding.

On the other hand the  word Taahirah (طاهرة) is from the root word (طهر) which means pure, chaste.

We therefore, recommend the names Taahirah which means pure, chaste, pious or Taybah which means pure, excellent, also another name for the city of Madinah, or Tay-yibah which means pure, chaste, halaal.

A few appropriate female names are:

Aaminah meaning a lady of peace and harmony. This was the name of the beloved mother of Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam.

Ameenah meaning Trustworthy, honest.
