Title: Position of Salah while eyes are closed

Assalamualikum,Please Answer my questions

Q1) I have heard that Salah Performing with Closed Eyes is Makrooh, but Now i have seen that all huffaz closes their eyes in taraweeh while reading quran,it is might be to manage the concentration, please amswer me wheather taraweeh salah is valid in this condition.

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

In principle, it is Makrooh Tanzeehi (disliked) to perform Salah with the eyes closed unless it is done to protect oneself from any distraction. [1] In any case, Salah behind an Imam who closes his eyes is valid.
