When should one leave for jumma?

Assalam o Alikum,

An Islamic School in Karachi has kept its working hours for teachers upto 1.00 p.m. on Firdays, although the First Azan for Juma prayers can be heard earlier at around 12.45 p.m.

Is it not wrong for the Islamic School to extend its working hours beyond the First Juma Azan.

Jazakallah Khair

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, The Most Merciful.

As-salaamu `alaykum wa-ramatullahi wa-barakatuh.

When the first adhaan of jumma is called out, one has to leave all activities and proceed for jumma. It is incorrect for the school to continue its working hours after the first adhaan of jumma.[1]

And Allah Ta`ala Knows Best.
