Title

Can we make 3 niyat in a nafil salath...like for example can i do niyat of salathul hajjath,salathul tauba,salathul shukrana in 2 rakath nafil.

Question

Asak,mufti sb..Can we make 3 niyat in a nafil salath...like for example can i do niyat of salathul hajjath,salathul tauba,salathul shukrana  in 2 rakath nafil.

Answer

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Assalaamu `alaykum waRahmatullahi Wabarakatoh

It is permissible to make multiple niyyah for nafl salah.

قوله ( ولو نافلتين ) قد تطلق النافلة على ما يشمل السنة وهو المراد هنا قوله ( فعنهما ) ذكره في الأشباه ثم قال ولم أر حكم ما إذا نوى سنتين كما إذا نوى في يوم الاثنين صومه عنه وعن يوم عرفة إذا وافقه فإن مسألة التحية إنما كانت ضمنا للسنة لحصول المقصود  ا هـ
